The Australian Aphasia Association held the 11th National Aphasia Conference in in Adelaide, South Australia on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th October 2016. Thank you to all the attendees, presenters, volunteers and the conference planning committee. The conference was a great success!!

2016 Conference Keynote Speakers:

Professor Linda Worrall
Professor Worrall is from the University of Queensland and was instrumental in the development of the Australian Aphasia Rehabilitation Pathway.

Professor Simon Koblar
Stroke physician and Director of the Stroke Research Programme, University of Adelaide. Simon is internationally renowned for his ground breaking research in stem cell research.

At the conclusion of the first day of the conference, delegates were invited to stay on for a twilight wine tasting experience. Canapés were served, and delegates had the opportunity to mingle and taste some of South Australia’s finest wines!
