Raise funds for the AAA
The AAA is the national voice for people living with aphasia. We offer many great events, services and resources. However, we are run completely by volunteers, and do not receive any government funding.
Because of this, we rely on membership fees, grants and donations to keep our organisation alive!
We also host fundraising events, such as our Long Lunches for Aphasia.
We would also love if you could support the AAA by organising fundraising events yourself! You could:
- Choose the AAA as your organisation when participating in an event like a fun run or marathon
- Host a morning tea, lunch or dinner
- Organise a movie night at your local cinema
- Organise a raffle with prizes from local businesses
- Sell items that you have made (e.g. art, craft, clothing)
- You may also have new and exciting ways to raise funds for the AAA!
Hosting fundraising events is also a great way to raise awareness of aphasia in your local community.
