Product Description
2020 has been one of those years. Come out of hibernation and help us celebrate 20 years since the beginning of a national support association for people with aphasia. You’ll join a very eclectic group of people who are keen to support the 80,000 Australians with aphasia. Join us for fun, laughter and conversations over great food.
We will donate $20 of each ticket to the Australian Aphasia Association. The AAA began at The University of Queensland in 2000 but now need funds to connect Australians with aphasia wherever they live.
Why the Golden Pig?
It’s time to waken up those taste buds. Each dish has the most amazing flavours and textures. Check out this banquet menu!
Katrina, the head chef has worked at the famous Rockpool and the The Spirit House. Her husband, Mark was also in the industry and has been recovering from aphasia for 51/2 years. We’d love to support them during these COVID times.
Katrina has donated two tickets to their very popular Cooking Class, and we are offering these as a door prize and raffle for $10 each.
When: Friday 27th November 12-3pm.
Where: The Golden Pig, 38 Ross Street, Newstead.
Cost: $100 for the banquet. This includes a $20-25 donation to the Australian Aphasia Association. Tickets go on sale soon but you need to be quick! Because of Covid restrictions, we are limited to only 60 tickets. Drinks are not included in the ticket, however they can be purchased at the bar!
