AAA Aphasia Camps

The Australian Aphasia Association holds Aphasia Camps once a year.

These take place on the Gold Coast and in Sydney.

Aphasia camps are for:

  • People with aphasia, and
  • Their friends and family.

At the camp, there are:

  • Workshops
  • Talks

These activities help people learn more about aphasia.

For fun, there are activities like:

  • Playing bowls
  • Art
  • Singing and
  • Drumming

Each camp offers different activities.

Family and friends can join in too. Some activities are just for friends and family.

Aphasia camps help people feel good, make friends, and not feel alone. People with aphasia can meet other who know what it’s like to live with aphasia.

The Gold Coast camps are supported by money from the James Frizelle Charitable Foundation.
We thank them for helping people with aphasia and their families.
